We wish for things very, very deeply and the very intensity of our wishes draws those things to us. But if they are wrong things that we’ve desired, they bring us misery and pain.

Your core beliefs and underlying assumptions will determine the actions you take and your behaviors…which will result in outcomes. Try to remember that nothing happens to you. Things simply happen, and you choose how to respond to them.

I focus on what I want, decide the only way I want it to manifest, and then anxiously await the outcome. Anxiety won’t serve my purpose, but I feel it anyway.
