Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone - If I gathered 100 people into a room and asked them why they didn’t have the things they wanted in their lives RIGHT now, 100 people would rattle off their own well rehearsed lists of excuses. While the reasons often seem logical, most often they are not real at all.

I have studied the law of attraction since 2003.I still am not living my dream life despite my efforts.I long for personal and financial freedom but have no idea what job, career or business is right for me, so I stay stuck in the same business year after year.I have a small daycare in my home and want out. I have tried mlm and network marketing businesses and internet marketing to no avail, but each time I get an inspiration that this is the busines for me and i start working in that business, i start getting negative thoughts that eventually make me quit. Then once again Im back where I was before looking for another way to build financial freedom and escape my daycare. My beliefs always sabatage me and nothing has helped me clear them. Not EFT, Not hypnosois, nothing! It’s impossible to stay postive and believe in yourself when your negative beliefs are running in the background and sabataging every effort I make to find success. I have had success using the law of attraction, but it appears to only work in my daycare by allowing me to get new clients. When i intend to create more money it always comes as new daycare clients and i seem unable to create money coming to me any other way.How did YOU clear your beliefs? How can escape my daycare and create another business when I don’t even know what that business is and my negative beliefs keep sabataging me?

    Thanks,
    Daphane

I can relate soooo much to what Daphane is saying. I seem to be having the same problems that she is having only I don’t have a daycare and any money that comes to me, comes via my husband.

I am into LOA for a little over a year. Still I am experimenting. I have had success in small things. Not in the things I greatly and immediately need. But the whole theory appears to be convincing.

When I read your blog today I found it refreshingly different and I got a new message. i.e. use intention statements instead of mere affirmations (which actually end up like mantras serving no real purpose).

I feel the intention statements are more comfortable, acceptable and logical. Perhaps, our mind will learn to do some follow-up on such statements sooner or later.

I would like you to give some simple tips on how to overcome limiting or sabotaging beliefs.

Thank you for your great work. Hopefully, one day I shall be in a position to buy your stuff which appear to be highly valuable.

I now can understand why so many people don,t have this power because as hard as I try to practice it and develop the master of it, your mind is constantly slipping away to something else, thats why I beleive meditating is key,its the only time you can practice 100 percent, but I,m not gone to give up, I truly beleive this system works, and I need it to work for me. Thank you for the infomation your sending me, cause at the moment i could,nt afford to pay for it. Thanks again—————-Glen Taylor

In respone to Daphe’s comments I would offer that perhaps you, and your beliefs, regarding your current daycare situation are exactly whats holding you in that situation. You say that when you intend to generate more income it arrives by way of more clients in the daycare.

For this I might suggest one would be grateful, but your expression through your words of the thought and emotion you hold regarding the daycare seem to indicate that rather than gratitude you hold loathing of the daycare.

You say you must ‘escape’ , as though it has you in a grip like a demonic monster, and to be free you must escape. You say “stuck” in the same business year after year.

This is an expression of the thought pattern you hold and the one you must clear before you can move on.

So if you were to express gratitude for the livelihood the daycare has offered you, and truely be thankful, your renewed outlook will allow you to move forward into the abundance you say you seek.

Just last evening I read something which I think wonderfully describes this type of situation ….

“Men are not disturbed by things, but by the views they take of them” (Epictetus, AD 55-135).

I hope this helps, all the very best with your future.

    Regards

    GC

Hi Daphane I can relate to what you are saying because I to have been self employed for 20years as a massage therapist. There are days I love what I do and then there are days that I dislike being a massage therapist and even have trouble starting my day. I am recently divorced and since the divorce I aquired alot of my exwifes debt and therefore seems like the money I produce is spent before I make it. Because of these additional bills I find myself getting debt collector calls which really are very negative and really seem to effect my mood in an ugly way. I guess I know I need to make alot of money but I am getting burned out in my current carear and yet I still like what I do so Im not sure what to manifest except all my bills to disappear so I can continue doing what I like doing in peace. I guess what Im getting to is no matter how hard I work I never really see things improving. When I was younger if I needed more money I put little extra effort into my business and the problem would go away. Now Im older and have to work twice as hard and things are getting worse I really wish I knew what I need to do to turn life into effortless living I feel that I once enjoyed.

I’ve been a believer in energy and light for the last 4 years, and read quite a lot on the subject of Angels and how they help those who ask for assistance sincerely, and I must admit it really
works, and I find a close corrolation to the understanding of what
    Dr. Anthony’s studies reveal.
So,it seems that the combination of both should really serve me
well.I understand more now the reasons things go good or bad
and I’m grateful for the lessons that unfold as I shift though life,
it’s like I am being guided to all the right circumstances and people, this I feel is one of those times.I have not yet gotten wealthy for it ,yet I feel the benefits of sticking to my intuitions
when I can.I do however get way layed quite a lot,but inevitably
I bounce back when I remember the moment is now and,not
to worry all will be well. So, I give thanx to the universe for helping me in my understanding and reinforcing the concept
of how it all works, and bringing me to now learning more

it’s soooo hard, to stay positive if you focus on each DAY. As opposed to say — each MOMENT! Sometimes, I find, when my mind races, if I ‘put myself to bed’ just as if I were a little kid, I wake up with a better fresh outlook. Not always something we have time to do — but when you’re sleeping, you’re not manifesting — i.e., can’t work against yourself either!

One thing that I would suggest, is to stop talking about how you ‘always get frustrated’, ‘always get negative’, ‘always sabotage yourself’. Those are constant reaffirmations of those states of mind!

PIVOT, as a friend tells me. When I start going down the neggy path, of thought spiralling, she reminds me to “CHANGE MY FOCUS”. In other words, since I’m starting to obsess about, say, money, maybe I should talk a walk with the dog, and play wiht the kids, and laugh and be silly for a half hour. Laughter and Silliness, and kids and pets, RAISE your vibrational levels.

The last thing I do, is sometimes, you’re just having an off day, maybe you’re tired, sick, etc, and we all have them — LET YOURSELF FEEL IT! Don’t try to fight it, or tell yourself, you’re ’sabotaging’ your efforts. Just say, Well, alright then, this moment, i’m feeling sorta poopy, and that’s okay. Trying to hard to avoid that feeling, or push it away, actually is causing us to focus HARDER ON IT! WOW right?

If you really want a change, and are really ready for a change, you WILL get a change! Look at what maybe you’re afraid of happening, if hte change were to come today, to help you find out where you’re blocking your flow!

    Hi Robert Anthony,

Great pieces of real world experiences that work.
Your website certainly have lots to offer; great content, great advice and awesome presentation.

In 1986 I was ready, and over the years many teachers appeared in my life to tutor me through some difficult life lessons and guide me along some very rocky edges.
Like you I am now able to focus on my own unique talents, abilities and actions to create the life I desire. Thankfully, today I have no need to concern myself with the judgments, prejudices, or decisions of others and I have learned and is learning to live free of judgment and focus more and more on what I need to do for myself in my life.

The pieces of gems you’ve offered as freebies are crisp, clean and to the point, like all of your material, each so very valuable to those who can see …
Just the way I like them.

I was able to listen to your inspiring thoughts with great appreciation for you confirmed what I was already thinking. If self improvement is a disease I wouldn’t know it, cause I feel quite comfortable in my skin at this moment in my life.
I don’t need to work hard or struggle any more cause I’m retired at fifty and I’m looking forward to incorporating the full benefits of great sites like “Rich Mind Life Strategy into my already perfect paradigm. :)

I am in the process of pre-launching “THE BOOK OF JOY” and I’m looking forward to keeping all your little gems of truth at the click of my continuing self enhancement and true wealth building strategies white list.

    Thanks again, and great success.

    Regards,
    Bernadette Charles

This is such a helpful site. Thank you!

I have a weird problem… I have been having really good results going with the flow of the universe and attracting positive things in my life. I have been trying to manifest a really comfortable flow of income into my life lately and BAM I was offered a high paying job at my office today. The money would solve all my financial woes. Only thing is - I would HATE the job! It would go against all my goals and values and I detest the guy who would be my boss. So even though, I really want the cash - I turned down the job. Is that what they call “living with intention”? or was that just a dumb mistake and I should have accepted the job and then turned my attention to manifesting a good work environment????
