The Amazing Power of Your Thoughts

April 7th, 2008 by Zoey Jordan

Negative emotions and negative thoughts don’t just limit your own personal ability to manifest your desires. Negativity is like an infectious, debilitating disease, and like every disease, it spreads. War, global warming, and the epidemic of crime going on in America are just some examples of the effects of negativity.

Create a Positive Ripple Effect

Every thought or belief you hold, contributes to the collective consciousness. We often hear, “What difference can I, just one person, make in this world?” If you let go of the belief that we’re all separate from each other, and understand that we are truly all connected, you come to realize that when you shift your belief system from the reactive and primal unconscious system, and choose to consciously create positive energy vibrations, you create a ripple effect. Just as crime epidemics are spread through negative consciousness, acts of generosity and kindness spread as well.

questionOur habitual thoughts create belief systems. If you operate in an unconscious state, you aren’t creating with intention. Your life is created by default. What you focus on, you experience. If your belief system is one of helpless, hopeless, empathy, fear, whatever it might be, you experience situations that allow you to remain helpless, hopeless, empathetic, fearful. Your personal beliefs and vibrations also contribute to the collective experience and impact others.

For example, when you go to work, if you complain about your job, your salary, company politics, your beliefs and emotions are spread to others. Pretty soon, your co-workers are complaining about the same things. Your message is being spread by your faithful followers.

Remember that your attitude is contagious, and your habitual thoughts create experiences that keep you in your current state of emotion.

Focus on Feeling Gratitude

The most effective way that you can feel good, and raise the vibrations you’re sending out into the Universe is to think of something you feel grateful for. You might have 10 things that don’t go right, but if you focus on that 1 thing that does go right, the other 10 things will have to improve or disappear. That’s the way the law of attraction works. It cannot function in a vibration with something that doesn’t match – you can’t be grateful for something and unhappy with that thing at the same time.

By raising your energy vibration, you change not only your life, but the world around you.

Feeling gratitude really is one of the best ways to make yourself feel better and kick start your thinking into a higher vibration. This has worked so many times for me. Focusing on the things that are going well and not being precious about controlling things exactly the way we want them is the key.

I was always a little confused with all the terms and how they fit together: conscious mind, subconscious mind, ego, heart, soul, personality … and which of all these is the “real I”?

I have come to understand that I am a soul (immortal spiritual being) who has a mind (with a conscious and subconscious part) and a body.
The conscious mind is influenced by the 5 senses (hear, see smell, taste, touch) and 6 higher faculties (imagination, reason, intuition, will, perception, memory). The subconscious mind is impressed by the picutres/thoughts of the conscious mind (paradigm, conditioning, map of reality). Further, the subconscious mind is the gate to the soul. When I feel something, it is a message from my soul, which I receive through the subconscious mind.

Do you share this understanding of the human nature?

I agree that negativity is like a disease that rapidly spreads. Having a negative attitude does nothing but hold you back from your full potential! I always apply positive thinking whether I am at school, at work, or anywhere else. Being kind, friendly, and positive to others really does pay off. I believe you get back whatever you put into something. If you’re positive, then good things will come your way!

    Great post!

Another example is when you gain weight. You focus on the fact that you put on extra pounds, and continue to gain more! What I try to share about dieting is not to think about dieting, or starving yourself because you will only want to eat more. Instead focus on doing more activities that you enjoy. By not thinking about having to lose weight and focusing on enjoyment or gratitude for all that you have the weight will disappear.

War,–Global Warming, Endemic Crime [ in all forms ] is simply the manifestation of incorrect thinking caused by incorrect programming of the subconcious mind , which in turn is caused by failure to foresee the accurate results of undesirable actions . The sole cause of this is DISCONNECTION from the UNIVERSAL MIND .from the start !!!

Both positive and negative thoughts are contagious. However, most of the time we experience the Negative World, because 95% of the world population is conditioned that way. The way that they perceive the world in scarcity evoking the negative attitude. And thus, affect the small world around them, and those entitiy which get infected would make it viral.

So the point is positive and negative is just the diferent level of the same scale. It’s just a matter of what we focus on; positive or negative. And the way we persist the environment with the intensity of the thought creates the way of the world as it is.

Nothing bad of good about thoughts, it’s just how we manage it, how we raise the level of the thought scale. GRATITUDE is the highest level in the scale and spreading this positive viral thought will create a better world.

On the negative side, FEAR rank the lowest in the scale which also mean, it is most negative emotions of all. It falls directly opposite to gratitude. Fear creates world of scarcity; love, money, relationship, opportunity, etc.

All things are just as they are. There is no bad or good, it’s the way we perceive it, but yet by nature all things fall in the highest vibrations group. We as human through perspective conditioning in the belief system brought in the opposite side of all thing. I didn’t mention good thing as from the beginning there are only things (no bad or good). That’s why negative experience got created.

And even the universe starts with one thought!
