Anger is a strong emotion. Most personal development programs share the belief that actions you take in anger are really based in fear. So how can we cope with fear and move past the emotional roadblock?
Dealing with Fear
Fear can make us want to act out in an effort to control or manipulate a situation, experience, or another person. Eckhart Tolle speaks about our “pain body.” He believes we carry our past hurts around with us and we allow our fear of more pain to strongly influence the actions we take, or do not take.
Emotional freedom is just below the surface of all of our emotions. Consciously releasing allows us to be inspired, hopeful, and intentional. We deliberately create our lives and our experiences. Utilizing the Sedona Method techniques, we can dive into our emotions deeply, not to hold them closer, but to release them and graduate to a better feeling thought or emotion.
This technique can be difficult in the beginning, but gets much easier as you begin to put it into daily practice. You will begin to recognize and identify your feelings more readily, and release yourself from them through conscious reflection that begins to take place with less and less effort on your part.
If we feel fear we might experience some of the following emotions:
- Doubt
- Dread
- Uncertainty
- Anxiety
- Wary
- Panic
Who Would I be Without this Feeling?
When you recognize the feeling of fear, ask yourself, “Am I this feeling, or am I just having this feeling?” Questioning limiting core beliefs is the best way to release them. Remember that we believe whatever we tell ourselves. What story do you want to tell?
Take the time you need and begin the process of questioning your thoughts. At your own pace, ask yourself the following four questions, and begin to embrace, and then release the negative emotion…
- Can you welcome this feeling?
- Could you let it go?
- Would you let it go?
- When?

oh well not going to write it again… Sorry didn’t see your little trick.
But your idea of limiting beliefs imply that you can imagine not limiting beliefs as well. Short I like the simple and accurate translation of your Sedona story but wonder of the beliefs and virusses of the mind. Now I know your trick I won’t spend an hour typing and ending up with nothing
But if you have an example of a not limiting belief… please let me know .
I’ll stop by again anyway..
