Why do seemingly bad things happen to good people? You can practice positive thinking, be the “eternal optimist” and you will still experience your windfall of problems. There is no way to avoid having problems, we’re human! It’s not possible to occupy a human body, in this place we call Earth, and live a life that is void of problems.
Problems are normal and they offer contrast between where you are now, and where you want to be. The interesting thing is once you’ve solved a problem, another one will take its place. Avoiding problems isn’t a possibility, so your focus should be on how you react and respond to them.
Struggle Leads to Fear
How many people do you know who complain about their problems at work, their financial struggles, their relationship issues, and their bad luck? They are afraid, anxious, and spend their time worried about their present circumstances, and discouraged by their futures. Their lives seem to be running them, and they appear to be victims of circumstance.
This shouldn’t be news to you by now, but your beliefs actually shape your experiences. Let’s say that you think of yourself as a loser and life is not fair. These beliefs will produce nothing but misfortune. Do you have a problem with your luck, or are you actually living the life you believe you deserve?
By focusing on how bad things have been, you’re simply creating more experiences to feel badly about.
Quantum Physics and the Order of Disorder
If you want to know the true of it, life will never seem fair. Things are what they are. Life is not unfair, but our expectations are. Most of the time things don’t turn out as we expect them to. It seems like the world is unfair, even chaotic. But Quantum Physics tells us that what appears to be disorder is chaotic order. What seems to be random is actually part of the higher order of events. Chaos or disorder is perfectly natural.
It’s normal to ask “why me?” when things happen to us. We do that when good things happen and when bad things happen. If we have good fortune, we think “what did I do to deserve this? Why is this happening to me?” And of course when things go wrong, we want answers too. The truth is things are not happening to us. Things are just happening. We take situations and experiences and make them personal.
Focus on the Solutions
When you ask “Why me?” you become a victim of circumstance. The antidote is to remind yourself that things don’t happen to you, they just happen. Asking “why me?” keeps you in the state of victim, a place of struggle. It limits your ability to find a solution, because you identify yourself as the wounded party, not as the powerful being that you truly are. Stop asking “why” and know things just “are.” You have the power to handle any given situation and create a solution that will move you closer to the life you desire.

I must say that by taking the EGO out of the equasion, it does help to rationalize thinking. I am curious though, does this mean we can no longer CHOOSE what we want to come into our lives? Is all life Random once again and we live in Default or is this solution saying that how we REACT to ’stuff’ is our choice and we can either get more of it or less by our response?.thanks..frankie
I agree fear is a huge problem in peoples lives. It becomes one of the fundamental beliefs that they use. If not in check it will creep into other parts of ones life.

I did purchase your “Deliberate Creator” . And the purchase costs of $167.00 did come back to me. I listen to the CD while driving and it is starting to sink in.
I’m 66 years old and now I believe (old dog can learn new tricks) I can choose to live each moment feeling good about myself - however, it is sometimes difficult because for years I have been running on automatic -by default. My EGO (edging God out) stil prevails in parts of my day.
But thanks to you and the Deliberate Creator progam is feel and visualize a better life for me.
Thank-you, Earle L. Moore, Jr
I’m puzzled. I would have presumed that these posts were being written by Dr. Anthony, but they all say “by Zoey Jordan.” Who is Zoey Jordan?
So simple but complex for most and easy to get caught up in.
I enjoyed reading this and as always, Robert Anthony you put in perspective what we all know goes on
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to take a quick moment to address the question “Who Is Zoey Jordan?” Zoey is a writer who has had the opportunity to spend time with, and learn from Dr. Anthony. While Dr. Anthony focuses on developing special reports and the more in-depth material, Zoey populates the blog with content based on Dr. Anthony’s life strategies. It’s our hope that the blogs will generate conversation and sharing in this online community. Please know that Dr. Anthony does read the blogs, your comments, and questions.
Thanks to everyone for their comments and feedback! And please visit often and share your feedback!
I am finally coming to the realization that “want” equals lack and that keeps us from what we desire. Every time I have let go of what I want, I either get it or come closer to it. Struggle is not the answer!
Focusing on fear and lack seem so habitual to many. It can be hard to climb out of it for those habituated to negative and fearful thinking. But you can climb out - one small step at a time. I think persistence and celebrating small achievements is very important.

dr, why negative effects so quickly,in positive we have to do excersize,in nagative we just think and it happens so quickly so what is the reason behind it,
I believe that we can first change the filter that we use to see things. This already brings out a happiness in us and most “problems” become “experiences” for a person in the right mindset.
Most problems arent 24/7/365 but our response to it becomes that , so we need to keep our responses in check and not allow negativy and panic and fear to set in
